With our economy as low as ever, people are always looking for ways to create more money. Jobs are depleting, but prices are still going up!!
Read this article on how you personally can create more cash or in long run, save more money! After reading through the ideas for saving money, answer the following questions:
1. Which tip do you feel is the most practical, or that people are more likely to do for themselves? Why?
2. Some of these tips are just common sense and probably should be done by everyone on a daily basis. Why do you think people need to be reminded of them in order to create more cash for themselves?
3. What is something else, either from experience or common knowledge, that you think could help save people money? (aka: Think of your own tip for creating more cash)
I think that canceling subscriptions is practical because subscriptions are more of a want than a need. I think that people forget that they can save money by following some of those tips because they are so used to not following them. I think that you should car pool with people. It will save gas and money from your pocket.
ReplyDelete1.The tip that was most practical and more people would probably use would be cancel memberships to Health clubs and gyms. People can always find other ways to exercise a gym is not needed. People can exercise almost anywhere.
ReplyDelete2.I believe that people need to be reminded of things they can do to make more money simply because if they don’t get reminded they will forget and then just keep going into debt, besides, some people aren’t creative enough to come up with the ideas given in the article.
3. I think a good way to get more cash would be to walk to places if it is a short enough distance. It’s like a gym membership and a money saver in one. :D
1. I feel that the tip most people would be more willing to do is to cut back on things that they would normally get like quit smoking, or don’t eat so much junk food, I also think people would have garage sales to help pay for things.
ReplyDelete2. when people look for places to save cash a lot of the time there not looking in the most obvious places, they look for things that might be a little harder to come by.
3.personally i would problem make money by starting a petting zoo I mean I just upped my number of pets 3 weeks ago by 5 little baby bunnies but there firkin adorable lol
1) I think that the most practical one was to cut back on spending. I think that it would be a very easy thing for people to do simply because half the stuff you buy you don’t need.
ReplyDelete2) I think that people need to be reminded sometimes because they get into such a habit of going to the store this day and the next and so on that they forget how much money they could save by simply making all the stops in one trip in one day.
3) I think that a good way to make some extra money is just to help out around the house. I do this and I make a lot of extra money.
1. Which tip do you feel is the most practical, or that people are more likely to do for themselves? Why?
ReplyDelete• I think that cutting back on spending is the most practical tip that most people would do. It is hard enough for people already to find a job let alone trying to find a second.
2. Some of these tips are just common sense and probably should be done by everyone on a daily basis. Why do you think people need to be reminded of them in order to create more cash for themselves?
• Some people don’t know anything outside of name brand clothes and name brand food. Buying store brand food tastes nearly the same and is half the price.
3. What is something else, either from experience or common knowledge that you think could help save people money? (aka: Think of your own tip for creating more cash)
• In order to help people save money you could hold food banks sop that the less fortunate could have a way to purchase food at a lower cost.

ReplyDeleteThe tip that I think is most practical for people to follow through on is cutting back on spending your money, and using coupons when running to the stores, I think this because when most people start going into debt they realize they have to cut back and budget their money they spend when they go out, and every Sunday I’m sure people leave time out to cut out coupons since everyone does what ever they can to spend one less dollar.
People need to be reminded of these tips in order, because if you forget you can get yourself into a big whole and create a situation for yourself that was avoidable to start off with.
Something other than these tips that I use when shopping is comparison, if I see two things that I want to buy that are the same thing I look at the brands and see whose brand is cheaper, this way your money can add up quickly that’s saved.
1. I think that tip 5, where you should cut out coupons, is going to be the one that people will use a lot because it is relatively simple to cut out coupons and to use them, and in the long run, it will save you money.
ReplyDelete2. I think people need to be reminded because they will simply just forget about them unless they use these on a regular daily basis.
3. I think that it would be a good idea just to buy used items like cars, games, clothes, etc, instead of buying new, more expensive items. You can usually find cheaper items on places like eBay, Amazon, etc.
1. I think that doing more errands with 1 trip is the easiest and the one people do for themselves, because they want to save gas and $.
ReplyDelete2. People sometimes don’t think about what they’re doing because they are use to doing it so and don’t need to think about it, which is why they need to be reminded.
3. I think to save money you need to slow down on your spending by thinking through what your getting and if it is really necessary.
1. Which tip do you feel is the most practical, or that people are more likely to do for themselves? Why?
ReplyDelete**I think cutting back on money is the most practical one because you don't have to spend money to go out to eat every night or extra things.
2. Some of these tips are just common sense and probably should be done by everyone on a daily basis. Why do you think people need to be reminded of them in order to create more cash for themselves?
** People these days think they need to have name brand things to stay in style, or need to spend thousands of dollars on wight trainers or whatever, honestly you can work out on your own there are many things you can use to work out for free. Also you don't have to wear name brand to fit in, be you not what other people want you to be have them accept you for who you are!
3. What is something else, either from experience or common knowledge, that you think could help save people money? (aka: Think of your own tip for creating more cash)
** Say you had a job or you got allowance a great way to have money and still spend is keep a percentage of the money for bills or fun things or what ever and then put a percentage in the savings account for future reference or emergencies, thats how i would do it!
1.I think that coupons & the name brand buying would be a tie. At my house, my mom pretty much only buys things if she has a coupon for them. She shops at Giant Eagle & they double coupons, so say the coupon is for $1.00 off, they would make it $2.00 off. That’s pretty much a lot. The bill without coupons would be say $150.00 & she would only end up paying about $60.00. She pays less than half she would have paid if she didn’t use coupons.
ReplyDelete2.People don’t realize that they can save a lot of money by changing a few things. Were not the brightest; obviously.
3.I think that more people should stop thinking of them & think about someone else for once; give a little.
1. I feel the most practical solution would be to cancel all subscriptions, member ships and too basically stop buying all wants and focus on the needs.
ReplyDelete2. Because most people think of their needs more than their own wants, people need to remember what is more important and what will help them in life.
3. When ever u get a pay check, keep at least 10% and put it in the bank. Another thing you can do is to just keep all loose change, it will start adding up.
Subscriptions are more of wanting rather then what you really need. Some of the people do not use the tips to save themselves some money. I think you can either walk or car pool with people to save some money
