I like wikispaces because they are easier to use and faster. The purpose of a wiki is to get information to a group of people without using email. You can use a wiki as an encyclopedia like a blog. No, I didn't like the project because I don't think i won't be fully functional with wikis after were done. Next year we can go through how to use a wiki more thoroughly so students can understand them better.

ReplyDeleteI think Google Docs are better because in google docs. You can make powerpoints, excel sheets, word docs, and much more. This can help you to get the point across.

I think the purpose of a wiki is to get the facts straight about things. If one person has no idea what they are talking about other people can correct them.
3. Other than how we used it, what else could a wiki be used for? How would you use one personally?
A wiki can be use to state the facts abut something. And put away some rumors for people. I could personally use one to maybe explain my family, work in a group of people over the internet, or just to screw around with.

1)I liked Wikispaces better because it was easier to use. Aside from the pictures, the whole process was easier. Also, Wikispaces has more tools that you can edit with.

3)You could use a wiki to organize a trip or a get together with people you haven’t seen for a long time and are very far away. I would probably use a wiki just to get information.
4)I thought the project was pretty good because it taught us how to use a wiki and learn what kind of sources are out there at our disposal. Next year you should probably just do it the same way, it was pretty good.

The purpose of wiki to me is you get information and let other people learn about new information they probably never new about.

Wiki could be used to get information out there to your friends if you have no phone or something. I would use wiki to chat with all my friends in on place(:

Yeahh it was pretty cool besides the fact i had to search for things ha! Next year maybe the kids could put information out there about them selves and get to know one another a little better and then get to actually see who they were talking to. So you maybe you would double think about judging people by their looks!

iv. I like the project we are doing this term because it allows me to work with kids I may not know. I don’t think there is much you could do to improve this project for future years.

• A wiki could also be used for journaling, writing a paper, or talking to friends back and forth to on. Personally I would use a wiki to talk to my friends and family.
• I liked the project that we did with the wiki because I like looking up information about things and researching them. I think you could improve the wiki project for next year by, making it fit certain information requirements and adding more pictures about your year required.

Wiki’s can be used for several different reasons. It could be used for a project in class like we had done, or could be used for a person that wants to spread their knowledge on the subject. In my opinion I liked the Google docs more, I am used to a processer that is like the Google one so it is easier for me to understand how it works. The purpose of Wiki is to spread information around that other people know. Wiki could be used to spread different information and could be used to show different kinds of history. I would use one personally to find info for homework. I liked our project for wiki, to make it better I think we need a little more time.

ReplyDelete2. I believe the purpose of a wiki is to speed up the process of organizing things such as: essays, research projects, going on trips and listing items you need, etc.
3. Personally, I would use a wiki to organize some kind of even with my friends. That way, i can also find out what they'd like to do rather than email which takes awhile and is not a good way to communicate between many people.
4. I think the project was ok. But I find it much better to be working with people on a project rather than never coming in contact with our group members. But to be fair, it was an interesting assignment. -Dan Maciejewski
