Identity theft is the act of using someones identity without there permission. Everyone is at risk especially if you use your credit card a lot. To stay safe you need to keep your credit card secure and you can't give it to anyone. Every six minutes someones identity is stolen.

Some things you can do to stay safe from identity theft is to be careful when using your credit cards and making sure not to give out your social security number and other information like it.
